As you walk through the 100 year old recycled Spotted Gum entry doors, which were hand made to incorporate the "cellar door" look,  you are graced by the high ceilings, abundance of quality living space featuring a sandstone fireplace and the richness of the Grey Gum timber and sandstone floors together with a fully equipped gourmet kitchen that will impress any Masterchef.

The design and finishes of the house were chosen for its ability to blend in with the surrounding environment while the pavilion style wings allow distinct zones for sleeping and living areas.

The open plan, orientation and abundance of windows and highlights takes full advantage of the ever changing escarpment and surrounds whilst being able to soak up the Winter sun or enjoying the warmth and mood of the sandstone fireplace.

The design is ideal for indoor/outdoor living and the commanding height of the raked ceilings and open kitchen make for an appealing and inviting entertaining space.

Environmental features include the use of  low e-glass, which assists with maintaining optimum temperature within the living areas, recycled water and envirocycle for the waste water.

The project plan was to ensure it exuded quality workmanship, the style and finishes to evoke relaxation, not only be suitable for family weekends away but for up market holiday accommodation in wine country .
